War between Israel and Iran. What is going on astrologically?

Warning, this is a Mundane Astrology look at a current War.

Two significant, heavy astro transits are occurring on the same day, disrupting our peaceful routines, as the world soul sheds its human patterns like a snake shedding its skin, birthing itself anew into the world. This is a stack, as we astrologers like to say, and when a stack hits, especially of planets outside of the Earth’s orbit of the Sun, then major mundane political and personally transformative things happen.

If you have planets at 28º fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, or Aquarius) or 1º Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn) then you are having major life shifts occur right now.

Israel and Iran are at War.

There is no sugar coating, this malefic outer square transit has stacked into the opening of another major war. As of the writing of this article on June 13, that war is still escalating. It started with Israel striking hard at the military leadership and nuclear capabilities of Iran on the 12th of June, around 3 am Tehran time.

You can see from this chart that the Mars (war) Uranus (transformation and upheaval) Square (stressful change) I just mentioned is conjunct the Moon (the people and soul) of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s astrology chart. The Moon rules the 8th house of death and transformation.

Another interesting aspect is that the Solar Arc progressed Mercury (moving the chart points forward approximately one degree per year based on the Sun’s motion) is now conjunct the fixed star Alkaid. This is the meaning of Alkaid: Associated with calamitous events and mass sorrow. Denotes change and symbolizes cyclic nature of life. Let go, meditate to achieve benefits. Where does this come from? Mercury rules the 7th, so it would be the open enemy of Israel that delivers this.

These are all very difficult placements for the Nation of Iran currently.

What of Israel? Does it get away scot-free after this, or will Israel be bogged down in an inescapable war?

I would like to thank the Israeli Astrologer Nia for pointing out a few interesting aspects that are currently occurring for Israel. First, Netanyahu’s chart below shows that Mars (war and aggression) is conjunct his natal Mars, ruler of the 12th (hidden things). This denotes a period of heightened aggression for Israel’s Prime Minister. This Mars is conjunct Regulus, which is the king, and I call this aspect the Angry War Lord. They are people who excel at war, conquest, and dominion. Donald Trump also has this aspect and is currently experiencing the same hubris of domination.

By Solar Arc direction, the North Node will be conjunct Uranus. This will be very similar to last year when the Solar Arc directed Moon opposed Uranus. That was the Hamas ambush of Israel. We may see a similar occurrence of surprise ambush and destruction in Israel as retaliation, or it may be a personal experience for Netanyahu. This would be around March 7 2027.

For the Nation of Israel itself, we can see that the Mars(war) Uranus(surprise and shocking) Square(strife) is also activating Israel’s Mars. (Israel’s Mars is conjunct Netanyahu’s War Lord Mars. Well, a warring man is leading a warring nature, it appears.

With Uranus and Mars also activating Israel’s chart and linking it to Iran’s chart, with Netanyahu’s chart also activated, this does not look like the end or middle of war; it looks like the beginning. Jupiter will conjunct Israel's Venus, the ruler of the 8th house of death and destruction, on June 30th, which could be a challenging day for Israel, and I believe may be the earliest day we see a resolution to this conflict.

As this conflict is also marked by Saturn being in Israel's house of open enemies, it is possible the earliest this conflict resolves is when Saturn moves past square to Israel's Venus on March 25th, 2026.

From a fixed star perspective, Israel is in a place of fortune. Israel’s Midheaven, being what is visible to the world, is conjunct Procyon, which gives courage and daring, and this was a very daring geopolitical move. The Ascendant, being Israel’s fortune, is conjunct Spica and Arcturus, which bestow good luck, Arcturus acting like a bodyguard during times of danger. Finally, Israel’s Solar Arc Directed Sun is conjunct Algol, which is a beheading of foreign enemies. It will take a lot for the Nation of Israel to fall, and we may still be witnessing the birth of its power.

I write this knowing that we as a species have hoped to rise above the dictates of war and conquest as a determining factor of the power of Empires, but fear we are not there yet as a species. We have to understand the world soul evolves at its own pace, and until we humans tame our own mental poisons of the mind and bind ourselves to prayer and service to the good, war will be an ongoing expression of the human experience on this world. Saying prayers for world peace can and does make a difference, but not seeing the nature of the human experience for what it is, does not make a difference. We all have to do the work of becoming peaceful for the world itself to become peaceful, and stressful, Mundane, and Personal transits are opportunities to do just that work.
